mega millions, come to mama....

so, today i went in halves with my parents, to get some Mega Millions tickets.  the jackpot is up to a cool $355,000,000....  YES, thats 355 million dollars.  There is a famous lotto spot here in south sacramento called "Lichine's Liquor and Deli "

Lichine's is ranked 10th in California in gross lottery ticket sales. They have had more than a dozen people to have won 7-figure jackpots, as well as a bunch of 6, 5, and 4 figure winners.  The walls are lined with winning checks from people hitting jackpots at that store, mutiple mulit-million dollar hits....

After trying to find a park, (the parking lot was full al the way out front to the street, the whole bel-air shopping center was full) and dodging Fox40, News10, Univision and Ch13, news trucks and people running around with cameras, i found the end of the line wrapped all the way around the deli, along the side, in front of the cleaners and farther past that building.  When i showed up, it was 5:52pm, and within 6 minutes there was 20 more people in line behind me.

So, after one hole hour, i had made it through the sea of about 300+ people into the snake shaped line inside the store, and purchased an IT's IT, cause i figured it was fitting.
