January 12th, 2010. (Indian food night!)





yogurt and an orange.  i felt like shit today, and honestly thought i was gonna puke in the trash can most of the day at my desk.









progresso chicken noodle soup:  200 calories.  it did the job though, chicken soup settles your stomach aches.  




had a couple bite of these flat pretzel thin pretzels.  and some hummus, but neither were sitting really well, so this was failed item #2 at lunch.




afternoon snackum =)  very very very salted popcorn, courtesy of halima.


medicine time, so yes yogurt time.  im getting kindof sick of yogurt. =(





where i decided to try some indian food.  i was then corrected by my friend that it is not exactly indian, it is more southern indian, but never the less really not too bad, food was good, however it was way to expensive.


nice restaurant.  a little fancier then i expected for broadway and 17th to be honest....


himalayan iced tea?  it tasted like thai tea kinda, or like asian horchata? (tea with non-dairy creamer and cinnamon)


MMMMmmmm!  the pickled potatoes (bottom right on tray) were so good.  and the naan bread was awesome too (middle) especially dipped in the yogurt sauce (left bottom)  


chicken tikka masala.  it was pretty good, wasnt that spicy =(  the chicken was good cut of meat though! and juicy not hella dry and over cooked.


i didn't really like the veggie curry (Above) wasnt that good at all though.  i am not a fan of eggplant and zuchinni, and this was what was in it = not that good.


basmati rice is good, hard to screw up.... i even ate the peas, and i NEVER eat peas.



AMAZING lentil soup.  I could come back and just have a bowl of the lentil soup!!!!!  It was delicious, maybe my favorite part =)
