Back to work. I have a pretty routine schedule at work, and get to work OT this week. Today was the first day of the overtime schedule, 5:30am-4pm. This requires me to wake up at 4am to get moving. When i got to work about fifteen minutes in i decided to eat my breakfast. I consisted of a banana, some cuties (easy-peel miniature mandarins or clementines) and some kiwi from our tree out back.
I took calls until lunch. I had lunch with my friend Jason, and had some leftovers from last nights dinner. I had some of the shish kabobs and rice, and the quinoa. MMMmmm.
i have been trying to eat little portions a lot during the day. apparently, its recommended eating 5-6 small meals per day. not only does eating often help increase your metabolism, but it also helps you avoid cravings by keeping you full throughout the day. so, for my snack about 1pm i have some more cuties, (because they are sooooo delicious and chock full of vitaman C) and a 80 calorie vanilla yogurt.
For dinner i got home and my dad had smoked some chicken thighs on his awesome handbuilt smoker. we cooked some broccoli and cauliflower, and i put some hot pepper jack cheese on mine.
So, we have enough chicken thighs, that i will probably end up having that for lunch and dinner tommarrow....
